Accessibility

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this site and the research resources it links to.

The site uses structured headings, visible keyboard focus, text alternatives for meaningful images, captions for scientific figures, and layouts that adapt to small screens. Before release, we run automated accessibility checks at desktop and narrow screen widths. A manual review checklist covers keyboard navigation, browser zoom, and screen-reader spot checks.

Use the Theme button (a sun or moon icon on small screens) in the header to switch between light and dark themes. The site follows your device’s theme setting until you choose one, then remembers your preference in this browser.

If you have trouble using the site, email larsf+lab@umich.edu. Please include the page address and a short description of the problem so we can investigate.
