Why the map combines Fritsche Lab and Lars Fritsche

The “Fritsche Lab / Lars Fritsche” marker appears in every view. It represents Lars on papers that list him as an author. For consortium papers that do not name Lars individually, the marker shows the paper’s link to the lab; those papers are labeled. “Fritsche Lab” itself does not appear in the author list.

How to read this map

Connections do not measure contribution

Scope

The map uses the publications listed on this website. The default view starts in 2012, when Lars began working in Ann Arbor; use the year filter to explore papers back to 2005. The map does not include every publication or professional relationship of every team member.

Large collaborations

Papers with more than 50 listed authors are hidden by default so smaller, recurring collaborations are easier to see. Select “Include papers with large author lists” to show them. Consortium papers that link to the lab but do not list Lars individually are labeled in the paper details.

Keywords and research directions

Keywords come from publication tags and a curated list of terms matched against titles and tags. Papers are also grouped into broader research directions and can appear in more than one. These groupings help with browsing; they are not definitive classifications. Select a keyword or research direction to see its papers.

How the map was built

The graph uses a local copy of Cytoscape.js under the MIT license. You can also inspect the generated network data and source bibliography.
