Sarah brings experience in human genetics and bioinformatics to the lab’s pain genetics and phenotyping research.
Research
Sarah is a human geneticist and bioinformatician. In her prior work, she developed computational approaches to detect and prioritize pathogenic repeat expansions in rare disease. These include RExPRT, a method that combines multiple signals to prioritize potentially pathogenic repeat expansions.
Current training
Sarah is a co-mentored trainee in the University of Michigan HEAL PAIN T90/R90 Cohort Program. She brings her experience in genomics and computational method development to the lab’s pain genetics and phenotyping research.
