Research
Tai develops and evaluates polygenic scores for mental health phenotypes. His work on PsyPRSweb benchmarks combinations of genome-wide association studies and score-building methods across ancestry groups in the Michigan Genomics Initiative and All of Us. He then uses phenome-wide analyses to examine pleiotropic associations.
Current training
Tai is a graduate student research assistant and doctoral researcher in Biostatistics. His work connects the lab’s programs in polygenic risk, EHR-linked biobanks, and precision mental health.
